Undergraduate Researcher Josh Karas presented his first research poster this spring, including at the Northeast Geobiology Symposium!

The grad students in our lab did an amazing job at the Penn State Geosciences Grad Colloquium. Kaitlin Taylor and Adam Stone were awarded 3rd and 4th place, respectively,  for best MS talks/posters, Kayla Irizarry received 2nd place in best pre-comp talks, and Fai Chanchai  was selected first place in pre-comps posters!

Big congrats to all lab members this spring!

Congratulations to Stanford MS student Michael Pimentel-Galvan for the publication of his paper, Duration and Intensity of End-Permian Marine Anoxia, in Geochemistry, Geophysics, Geosystems! Michael revisited modeling of the U isotope and concentration records using a Monte Carlo scheme over a range of parameter values, evaluating the model runs using PCA.
