A busy summer in the field and at conferences

Our lab had a productive summer! Gavin De Mars successfully defended his senior thesis and graduated! Kayla Irizarry presented at NAPC, and Adam Stone and Fran Meyer both presented at Goldschmidt.

Fran and I collected phosphorite samples from the Phosphoria with collaborator Madeline Marshall and undergraduate students Brayden and Isaac from Albion College in Idaho and Wyoming. Cole McCormick and I brought back lots of dolomites from the Mackenzie Mountains with collaborator Justin Strauss from Dartmouth.

We also welcomed Kalev Hantsoo, NASA Postdoctoral Fellow, to our group!
